In a quick discussion with the Edinburgh team on the last day of the ISC’13 Student Cluster Challenge, we discuss whether Scotland (and the UK) is actually an island before moving onto more weighty topics. The Edinburgh team is happy with their results, despite running into many of the other difficulties that have tripped up other teams. The application set this year seems to be particularly challenging, and the time constraints make this edition of the competition even more difficult.
