Here’s a look at one of the two Chinese entries into the SC12 Student Cluster Competition. These kids from the University of Science and Technology are not battling just their cluster competitors; they’re also fighting jet lag, 8.5 inches of snow, and my inability to speak slowly/clearly enough to be understood without an interpreter. The student spokesman bravely soldiers through my ham-handed interview. (And strangely enough my hands were actually holding ham, which will throw anyone off stride a bit.)
